Gjoa Haven RCMP responded to report of a stabbing on June 25th at 8pm.

The 30 year old man was found in life threatening condition, and rushed to a local Health Center where he died of his injuries.

Police have made an arrest in connection with the death . The suspect, who has not been identified, is scheduled to appear in court on July 18 at the Nunavut Court of Justice in Iqaluit.

Gjoa Haven is a hamlet in Nunavut, above the Arctic Circle with a population of 1324 (2016).
