Montreal police responded to the report of an unresponsive man in an alley on Hope Avenue near the René-Lévesque Boulevard intersection on October 29th at approximately 8:00pm.

Police located the victim, a 23-year-old man, suffering from a stab wound in the upper body. He was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Const. Raphael Bergeron said the victim was not known to police. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact Info-Crime Montréal at 514 393-1133.
