2 charged in Saskatoon’s latest homicide.

Saskatoon police were called to the 900 block of Northumberland Avenue on September 28th at approximately 2:18 am. It was reported that a number of people were in the parking lot when an altercation broke out and a 27-year-old male had been injured.

The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. His death has been ruled a homicide.

At approximately 8:00am on September 28th a member of Saskatoon Traffic Services spotted a vehicle associated with the incident and effected a traffic stop. As a result, two persons of interest were arrested and are currently in custody. A 26-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder and a 33-year-old has bee charged with accessory after the fact to aggravated assault.
