The 2024 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

Winnipeg police responded to a stabbing incident at a home on Arrow Street on January 10, 2024, at approximately 7:20 p.m.

On arrival police and paramedics located Binesi KENNEDY, 19 years old, suffering from a stab wound. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Update
On January 14, Police arrested and charged 46-year-old Anna Marie HANSKA, of Winnipeg, with Second Degree Murder. Investigators said the suspect and the victim were not previously known to one another.
