York Regional Police responded to reports of a shooting on Purple Finch Road in the area of Ninth Line and Highway 407 on February 1st at approximately 6:45pm.

On arrival police located a male victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released.
