York Regional Police Homicide Unit believes that Quoc TRAN, 37, and Kristy NGUYEN, 25, were victims of homicide in a targeted attack at 111 Zenway Boulevard, in Vaughan, where they were last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m., on Saturday, September 18th. Police are actively working on recovering the bodies.
A Canada-wide warrant for a 35-year-old Phuong Tan NGUYEN, who is considered armed and dangerous. Investigators are also releasing photos of a vehicle of interest they believe is connected to this homicide.

Update October 1st
York Regional Police Homicide Unit announced that they have recovered a body at Twin Creeks Landfill and Environmental Center in Watford Ontario. Police have not said if the victim they located was Quoc or Kristy. On September 29th Recaldo LIBURD, was arrested and charged with two counts of Accessory After the Fact of Murder.
A Canada-wide arrest warrant remains in effect for the suspect Phuong Tan NGUYEN, who is considered armed and dangerous.
Update January 12th 2023
York Regional Police announced through partnership with BOLO, a $50,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest Phuong Tan NGUYEN, aka: Mike, 37, of Toronto, wanted for two counts of First-Degree Murder. He shares no familial relation. Police said Phuong Tan Nguyen is likely to have left Canada after last being seen boarding a plane in Mexico in 2021, that was his last known location.
