Kelowna police were called orchard located in the 2100 block of Cooper Road on October 11th at approximately 11am on report of a body being found.

Police said the woman was believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35. RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said “Once the victim has been positively identified, our priority will be to properly notify the woman’s next of kin”

October 17th
The victim has been identified as Russia Katalina Nicholson 23. Police urge anyone with information to contact them.

Anyone who may have witnessed anything in the area prior, or anyone with any information is asked to contact the Serious Crimes Unit of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
