Winnipeg police were called to a hotel in the 600 block of Main Street near Henry Avenue on January 29th, at approximately 3:00am.

On arrival police and paramedics located 29-year-old Norman Nigel Bird of Winnipeg, seriously injured. He was rished to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Update June 21st
Winnipeg police announced, that the investigation by the Homicide Unit revealed the person responsible for BIRD’s death was a 30-year-old male from Winnipeg.  This male, an acquaintance of BIRD, passed away from an unrelated medical event in May 2022.
