Montreal police were called to a noise complaint an apartment on Logan St., near the intersection of D’Iberville St on April 19th at around 9:30pm.

On arrival police located a 75-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced at the scene.

Police arrested 28-year-old Vithushan Aran and charged him with second degree murder in relation to the stabbing death of his father.
