Laval police were call to a home on Antoine Forestier Street at around 5:30pm, on October 15th on report of a shooting.

Police arrived to find Vincenzo Spagnolo, 65, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Spagnolo is suspected of being involved with the mafia and having ties to the Rizzuto family. It has been reported that Spagnolo was the best friend and confidant to Vito Rizzuto.

SQ spokesman Daniel Thibaudeau said “It has all appearances of a settling of accounts.”
