Laval Police were called to Moomba nightclub on May 18th at 3:15am on report of a fight. Police arrived at the scene to find a 33 year old man covered in blood.

The victim was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Investigators have yet to determined the cause of death, only saying that the victim was not shot.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Laval police are searching for Mohamad Achraf Maatoug, 26, who they believe is the suspect in the Moomba nightclub murder. Police said Maatough should be considered dangerous and if seen call 9-1-1.
