VPD said Zane Ponecappo, 29, was stabbed during a confrontation near Columbia Street and East Hastings around 5 p.m. on July 9th.
Ponecappo was taken to hospital where he died on July 21st.
The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information to call VPD Homicide at 604-717-2500.
