Vancouver, British Columbia 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

Vancouver police responded to Granville and Smithe at approximately 3:30 am on August 4th for a report that a man had been stabbed.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a 32-year-old victim was rushed to hospital by paramedics, where he died of his injuries. The victim has been identified as Jose Kaze, a 32-year-old Surrey resident.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
