Jason Wells, Bradley Morrell and Veronica Whalen charged in connection to the murder of a man in St. John’s Newfoundland

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were called to a potential weapons offence outside a house on Golf Avenue on July 31st at approximately 10:30 am.

According to CBC the RNC surrounded the house and after a short standoff police arrested two men and two women, who are believed to be connected to the homicide of a man.

Update: On August 1st, The RNC Criminal Investigation Division have charged 50-year-old Jason Wells, 41-year-old Bradley Morrell and 36-year-old Veronica Whalen with second degree murder in connection with the death of a 31-year-old man in St. John’s. The accused individuals will appear in Provincial Court today in relation to the charges.

The RNC continues to seek information in connection with this investigation, and request anyone who witnessed the event, or has video in the area between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, contact the RNC.
