Toronto Emergency crews were called to the area of  Islington Avenue near St. Andrews Boulevard, at approximately 6:20 pm on December 12th, on report of a vehicle that mounted the sidewalk and struck a tree.

Police and Paramedics located the vehicle with the victim inside. The victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

No other information is available at this time. 

Update 
The victim has been identified as Jonathan Gayle-West, 29, of Oshawa.

Update February 23, 2019
Toronto police arrested Samir Adem, 18, and Salman Ahmed, 18, both of Toronto, on February 20th and charged them with Second Degree Murder.
