Toronto police responded to a report of a shooting at 245 Dunn Avenue on November 15th at approximately 5:30pm.
According to reports police arrived to find Abel Gime, 23, of Toronto, suffering from gunshot injuries. Despite life-saving measures, Gime was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second victim, a 19-year-old man, was located in the lobby of the same building. He was transported to hospital via emergency run where he remains in non-life threatening condition. A third victim, a 22-year-old man, attended hospital on their own and was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. And lastly a fourth victim, a 44-year-old woman, fled the building and took refuge on a nearby TTC vehicle. She was transported to hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

Update: On December 7, 2022, Oshane Mitchell, 27, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- Second Degree Murder
- three counts of attempted murder
