Toronto police responded to a report of a double stabbing in the Midland Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East area, on June 16th at approximately 2:00am.
Police arrived at the scene to find two men suffering from stab wounds. Both men were rushed to hospital where Paul Spilchen, 29, of Toronto died of his injuries.
Police arrested Michael MacKinnon, 42, of Toronto, on June 17th. MacKinnon has been charged with second degree murder and attempted murder.
