Toronto Homicide #29 – Police are investigating the discovery of Jomo Hendricks deceased in a fire as a homicide

Toronto police responded to a call for a fire at 31 Gilder Drive, in Toronto on May 16th at approximately 6:28pm.

according to reports, the body of Jomo Hendricks, 58, was found in a burnt out apartment by firefighters after they extinguished the fire.

An autopsy was completed and determined the death to be a homicide. The Homicide Squad have taken carriage of this investigation.

Update August 19th
Toronto Police arrested  Reuben Tabnor, 31, of Toronto, on August 18th. Tabnor has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
