Toronto police attended a call for an unwanted guest in the Yorkland Boulevard and Consumers Road area on June 30th at approximately 12:35 p.m.

Police said onsite staff requested assistance in trespassing a man and a woman from a temporary address. Police spoke to the man and a woman was located deceased within the apartment. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.

Kenneth Bellamy, 43, of Toronto has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.

Update February 25th 2025: Kenneth Bellamy, was convicted of second-degree murder after being accused of killing Tracy Iannuccilli during a drug-fuled argument.

Police had been called multiple times to a North York shelter where the couple stayed, but failed to investigate properly, despite concerns for Iannuccilli’s safety.

On June 30, police discovered her body, wrapped in towels, with 15 stab wounds (according to the Toronto Star). Bellamy testified that her death was an accident during a struggle over a knife, but the prosecution argued the stabbing was intentional. Three police officers are facing misconduct charges related to their handling of the case.
