Toronto police received a call for an altercation involving two men, in a parking lot in the Eglinton Avenue East and Brimley Road area on June 25th, 2023, at approximately 7:10 p.m.
On arrival, police located a man suffering from serious stabbing injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Police have not released the identity of the victim at this time.
Update: Toronto police have identified the victim as Ifeanyichukwu Oseke, 28, a student from Nigeria (pictured).

Police are searching for a suspect who is described as male with medium-length dark hair. He was wearing a light-coloured tank-top, pants and shoes. He was last seen getting into a dark-coloured sedan, traveling south on Brimley Road from Eglinton Avenue East.

On Saturday, July 1, 2023, Tamar Cupid, 25, of Toronto was arrested and charged with:
- Second Degree Murder
