The 2023 Toronto Homicide Victim List is available here

Toronto police responded to a call for a person in crisis in the Yonge Street and Byng Avenue area on May 8th at approximately 3:49pm.

On arrival officers located a man and woman in front of a residential building with injuries consistent with a fall. Police said they were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Siyue Wang, 23, of York Region.

Homicide investigators are identifying this as a murder-suicide. No one else is being sought by police. TPS said no further information will be released.
