Toronto police responded to a stabbing in the Charles Street and Yonge Street area on the report of an altercation between two men on May 15th.
On arrival police and paramedics located Marcus Roberts, 39, of Toronto, suffering from a stab wound from a “sharp edged weapon”. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Toronto police arrested Markland Watt, 49, of Toronto, on May 16th and charged him with:
- First Degree Murder
