Toronto police responded to a call for an unknown trouble in the 311 Washburn Way area on Thursday October 28th at approximately 3:42am.

On arrival police located Jamal James, 27 of Toronto, inside a vehicle that had crashed into a building. Police said there was evidence of gunfire in or around the car he was driving. James was was suffering from serious injuries and was rushed to hospital via emergency run where he died of his injuries.
