The 2025 New Brunswick Homicide Victim List is available here.

On February 6, 2025. At around 5:51 a.m., police responded to the scene on Isaiah Street, where three individuals forcibly entered a home occupied by a man and a woman in their thirties.

A confrontation occurred, leading to the death of 35-year-old Brian Justin Johnson, originally from Halifax, N.S.

When police arrived, two suspects had fled in what was believed to be a black 2018 Dodge Ram 2500. A second vehicle, a light-colored Ford F150, is also believed to be involved.

RCMP said upon further investigation, police are no longer searching for the black 2018 Dodge Ram 2500, and have been able to recover the light-coloured Ford F150, now described as a blue 2011 Ford F150.
