Emergency crews were called to the area of 137A Street and 90 Avenue on December 27th just after 10:30 p.m. on the report of a man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

The victim, 19-year-old Harman Singh Dhesi was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he dies of his injuries.

Police said the victim was known to police and the shooting appears to be targeted. No arrests have been made at this time. The IHIT said in a tweet “A burning vehicle was found in the area of 176St and Ford Detour Rd in Pitt Meadows at 1:55am. Working to determine if it’s related to our homicide.”
