Peel police were called to a residence on Yately Street in the City of Brampton on October 5th at approximately 4:34am on the report of a shooting.
Police arrived to find Tanveer Sidhu, 28, of Mississauga suffering from gunshot wounds. Sidhu was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Following an investigation Khalile Silveira, 22, was located by police in the company of Alantai Morrison, 22, in the City of Toronto and both were placed under arrest. Silveira was charged with:
– Second Degree Murder
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
– Use Firearm in the Commission of an Offence
– Human Trafficking
– Exercise Control
Alantai Morrison, 22 has been charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder.
