Update: Police investigate a fatal stabbing in Richmond BC

Police were called to the Richmond General Hospital after a 22 year old man was found in the parking lot suffering from stab wounds on Friday January 27th just before midnight.

The man was then transported to Vancouver General Hospital for treatment, however died from his injuries shortly after arrival.

Police are not releasing the victim’s name until his next of kin has been notified.

The victim has been identified as Francis Le 24 of Surrey BC.

One man in custody after Richmond BC man found dead

Police were called to a business on Viking Way and Cambie Road, at around 6:30am on January 16th on report of an unresponsive man.

Police said the man was found dead inside the building with injuries consistent with homicide.

Police have a suspect in custody, however no charges have been laid at this time.

 

Calvin Chi Hang Zhao shot to death in a vehicle in Richmond

Police were called to 700 – block Ash Street near Granville Street on Tuesday January 10th at around 9:30pm on report of gunshots.

Calvin Chi Hang Zhao, 21, was found dead inside a black Jeep.

No arrests have been made, however police said a white SUV was seen fleeing the scene.

Body found in Richmond BC

Police received reports of a shooting on January 10th at around 10 pm at the 6500-block of Ash Street in Richmond.

Police found the victim dead in a late model Jeep. police said the shooting does not appear to be random.

Richmond Developer Amarjit Singh Sandhu shot to death in Tim Hortons parking lot

56 year old Amarjit Singh Sandhu president of Sandhill Development, was shot to death in at around 6pm on June 4th at the Coppersmith shopping centre, outside the Tim Hortons.

Witnesses said the suspect pulled out a gun with a silencer attachment and shot at Sandhu and that it sounded like a paint ball gun.

Police believe the shooting was targeted and are looking for a non-white male, approximately six-foot tall, slim build, who was wearing a grey or light grey coloured hoodie.

Alexander Renney found dead in Richmond

20 year old Alexander Renney was found dead in the 14000-block of River Road early morning on February 23.

Police are treating the death as suspicious and say it does not appear to be a random attack. The cause of death has not been released.
