Woman charged with the murder of her husband in Red Deer

Red Deer RCMP detachments responded to a disturbance at a home in Red Deer County at 9:30 a.m on February 27th.

Police arrived to find Matthew Berresford, 36, deceased inside the home. Cause of death has not been released at this time.

Robin Berresford, 36, has been charged with the murder of her husband. Berresford is scheduled to appear in court March 5.

6 year old girl and her father found dead in their home

Red Deer police responded to a check on the welfare of a man on May 14th in the Lancaster neighbourhood.

Police arrived to find the bodies of a 39 year old man and his 6 year old daughter. The names of the victims have not been officially released at this time.

Inspector Ken Foster said they aren’t looking for any suspects in connection with the deaths.

Red Deer’s Latest homicide

Red Deer RCMP responded to a call for assistance at an Apartment on March 29th at approximately 6:00am. Police located the 26 year old man in life threatening condition.

The man was rushed to a Calgary hospital where he remained on life support until his passing on March 30th.

An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be homicide. The victim’s name will not be released at this time.

Tina-Marie Pfeiffer found dead in her Red Deer home

Police were called to a home at around 4 am on October 27th. On arrival police found Tina-Marie Pfeiffer dead in the home.

While on scene police received reports of a man walking the streets in his underwear. Police arrested the man and later identified him as Jordan Koizumi 26, of Red Deer.

An autopsy conducted determined Pfeiffer’s was a homicide and Koizumi has been charged with second degree murder.

The cause of death has not been released at this time. Police have not released the relationship between the victim and the suspect.

Police ask for help in the death of Dawson Wegner Cramer

Police believe Dawson Wegner Cramer 23, was trying to stop two theives from stealing his truck a Ford F-650 before he was killed on March 16th. Police found Wegner Cramer seriously injured in an alley behind his Red Deer home, he was transported to hospital where he later died.

The suspects fled the scene in his truck, which was found abandoned 3km away from the scene.

Charges laid in the death of William Baker

Shane Dion McPhee 40, the man who dropped off William Blaine Baker, 47, and left him for dead at the Red Deer Hospital on February 12th has been found and charged.

An autopsy was performed on February 23,  and determined Baker’s death was in fact a homicide.

McPhee has been charged with second degree murder.

The cause of death has not been released.
