Yellowknife RCMP responded to a report of an unconscious adult male who had been located in a white SUV City Cab in the area of Stanton Territorial Hospital on November 19th at approximately 4:47am.
Police said the victim was transported into the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s identity and cause of death have not been released.
RCMP have arrested Elias Schiller, 18, of Yellowknife, and James Schiller, 49, of Yellowknife. Both Elias Schiller and James Schiller have been charged with murder.

Northwest Territories RCMP announced that Richard Binder Jr, 35, was found dead near Big Lake, in the Inuvik area on November 3rd.
Police had issued a call for public assistance in locating Mr. Binder Jr, as he was wanted on several outstanding warrants. Bender Jr was reported missing on October 28 and a request for public assistance in locating Mr. Binder Jr was issued October 29.
Cause of death has not been released at this time.
Fort Liard RCMP responded to a residence on Birch Road on report of an injured male on October 28th.
Police arrived to find the 34-year-old victim deceased at the scene. The Northwest Territories RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Services are assisting with the investigation.
Police arrested 21-year-old female has been detained and remains in custody. A publication ban is in effect, no other details can be released at this time.
RMCP received a report of the death on a man on April 2, at approximately 9:30pm.
Police arrived to find a 39 year old man dead. Police said the death is suspicious in nature and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Service and NWT Coroner Services are investigating.
No other information has been released at this time.
Deline RCMP responded to a call of assistance on December 23. Police arrived to find a 65 year old woman unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jonathan Tetso 31 has been charged with the suspicious death of the 65 year old woman. The cause of death has not been released at this time.
Fort McPherson RCMP were called to a Tsiigehtchic home on April 4th on report of a disturbance. Police arrived to find an unresponsive man. Despite life saving efforts the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested Wayne MacDonald 54, and charged him with manslaughter in relation to the death.
Dettah Police were called to a home on March 30th at around 4am on report of a disturbance. Police arrived to find Herman Abel im life threatening condition.
Herman Abel was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The cause of death has not been released.
Stanley Abel Jr, 30, has been charged with the death of his uncle.
Police recived a call of a disturbance at 4 a.m on March 30th at a Dettah home. Police arrived to find a man in serious condition, he was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries on March 31.
Police have a suspect in custody, no charges have been laid at this time.
May Elanik was found seriously injured and unconscious on a trail in Aklavik NWT, on November 11th. Elanik was transferred to hospital, Elanik was still unconsciouses when died November 19th.
The cause of death has not been released.

Frank Elanik of Aklavik, N.W.T., has been sentenced to 60 days house arrest for assaulting his wife May in August 2015. No charges related to her death have been laid.

Frank Elanik Jr.38, of Aklavik has been charged with the murder of May Elanik.
The cause of death in the case of Etanda Hardisty-Beaverho 12 years young, is still a mystery.
Etanda Hardisty-Beaverho was found dead near Riverview Road October 3rd in Fort Liard, N.W.T.
Police say an autopsy was conducted but the cause of death and manner of death are still undetermined, pending toxicology results.
