update: Medicine Hat suspicious death of James Satre being investigated as a homicide

Medicine Hat police were called to the area of 1100 block of Mill Street SE on October 10th on an assist EMS call. Police arrived at the scene to find a deceased male who was identified as James Satre, age 64.

An autopsy conducted revealed that Satre’s injuries were not self inflicted. Police have not released the cause of death.  The death of James Satre is now being investigated as a homicide.

Robert Hoefman of Medicine Hat has been charged with first degree murder in relation to death of James Satre on October 10th.

Charges laid in the death of Jordan Pede

Jordan Pede 24, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in Strathcona Island Park on Dec. 31. Due to the extent of his injuries, Pede was air lifted to Calgary hospital where he died around 11 days later.

Police believe the death of Pede was a transaction gone wrong.

Luke Michael Boxell, 21, of Medicine Hat turned himself in on January 25th. Boxell has been charged with second degree murder.

Police are still searching for a second suspect. Leonard Terrance Robert Beaulieu, is wanted for second degree murder in the death of Pede.

Beaulieu is decribed as 5’10” and 187 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Tattoos, K Money on his left hand,  G Team on the right hand, along with bones, a dollar sign, and a skull on his right forearm.

Brenda Woloski found dead in Medicine Hat’s third homicide of 2016

Medicine Hat police located Noah Harrison Bentley 26 who was reported missing by his family on November 12, on Prince Street and Maple Avenue SE. The information gathered by the police lead them to a residence in the 800 block of 3rd Street SE.

Police found Brenda Woloski 53, dead at the home. An autopsy has been scheduled for November 15th. Noah Harrison Bentley has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Woloski.

Barbara Holmes charged with the death of her husband John Holmes

Medicine Hat police were called to Robinson Drive S.E on June 18th on report of an unresponsive male. Police arrived to find John Holmes 51 with a serious injury.

Holmes was rushed to hospital where he died. The Autopsy report concluded that Holmes died of multiple injuries. His wife, Barbara Holmes 51, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
