Edmonton homicide detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a woman found suffering gunshot wounds in her home July 12th.
Police responded to a call of shots fired upon arrival they found a 27-year-old woman in the home suffering from gunshot wounds. The woman transported to hospital, where she died of her injuries.
Police have not released the name of the woman.

Edmonton homicide investigators are looking for answers in the suspicious death of a 51-year-old Lawrence Francis Mountain.
Mountain was found by police June 30th and was taken to hospital. Lawrence Francis Mountain died two days later on July 2nd.
Police continue to investigate the death.

RCMP have charged a resident of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation Tristan Wesley, 27 with murder in connection with the death of his father Myles McLean on Canada Day.
The victim’s identity has not been released, but RCMP confirm he was a 55-year-old man from the Morley First Nation.

Tristan Wesley, has Received a three-and-a-half year sentence after pleading guilty in connection with his father’s death and an attack on his sister.
Hally Dubois, 50, and David Derksen, 37, have been identified as the two people killed in the grisly attack June 30th at the work camp, outside Fox Creek, Alta.
Daniel Goodridge, 28, of Edmonton is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and interfering with human remains in the attack.
The woman found dead in an Edmonton alley, tied up in a shopping cart June 16th, has been identified as 42-year-old Andrea Marie Berg. Berg’s body was discovered with her legs bound and tape over her mouth.
The medical examiner found she died of blunt force trauma and police are calling her death a homicide.
Lana Jane Pelletier, 42, is charged with second-degree murder. John Charles Kisil, 50, is charged with being an accessory after the fact
Maryam Rashidi had been working as a gas station attendant in Calgary for three days when she chased the stolen truck out of the parking lot after the driver fuelled up and drove off without paying on June 9th. Rashidi, 35, died in hospital of her injuries.
Joshua Cody Mitchell, 20, is charged with criminal negligence causing death, dangerous driving causing death, hit and run causing death, and possession of stolen property over $5,000, and theft.
Raddatz, 42, fired over 50 bullets from inside his southwest Edmonton home on June 8th, killing Const. Daniel Woodall and wounding another officer. After the shooting, flames engulfed the home, burning the house to the ground. A body believed to be that of Raddatz was found in the basement.
Officers had gone to Raddatz’s home in west Edmonton on June 8th to arrest him on an outstanding warrant for a bylaw offence.
June 4th Edmonton police were called to the Central McDougall neighbourhood, where Claudia Mary Iron-Howard was found in life-threatening condition after being assaulted. Howard was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, where she died.
An Autopsy Claudia Mary Iron-Howard, 29, died from a stab wound to the chest, and her death has been deemed a homicide.
Shawn Richard had been identified as the “primary suspect” in the murder of Claudia Iron-Howard. Police had developed enough evidence charge Mr. Richard, with the death of Claudia Mary Iron-Howard, however Richard was murdered on August 31, 2015.
Police say they now consider the case concluded.
Ryan Delve 43, was a former tattoo artist and an ex-addict who was living at the Drop-In Centre and was one of the people responsible for the colourful mural painted on 4th Street S.E., just steps away from where his body was found.
On June 4, 2015, police were called to the pathway under the 5 Avenue Flyover bridge in Calgary’s east village. Delve was found deceased at the location.

Jason George Costouros 32, the victim of a fatal Edmonton shooting on May 28th, had a gruesome criminal history.
Police were called to a home on May 28th on a weapons complaint. They found Costouros dead on the driveway of him parents home. Edmonton police have confirmed that Costouros died as a result of a gun shot wound.
Police have not named any suspects at this time.
In 2007 Costouros was charged with being accessory to murder and interfering with a dead body in the vicious death of David Wong.
