Swan River RCMP received a report of a deceased female inside a residence in Swan River, Manitoba on May 29th at approximately 3:00 am.

Police arrived and located a 29-year-old woman deceased. Investigators said there was nobody else present inside the home.

This matter is being investigated as a homicide.

Update: On June 7, 2023, a 15-year-old male was arrested in Winnipeg by RCMP Major Crime Services investigators and charged with Manslaughter in the death of a 29-year-old woman in Swan River. The male is from Swan River and was known to the deceased.
