Loon Lake RCMP responded to a report of a sudden death at a home on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation on April 25th.

Upon arrival, officers located a deceased woman. She has been identified as a 34-year-old member of the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation. Her family has been informed, but her name is not being released at this time.

The Saskatchewan RCMP, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Based on the findings so far, her death is considered suspicious.
