Sudbury police investigate the homicide of a man in Dowling

Sudbury police responded to a residence on Sturgeon Street in Dowling after City of Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to the home on the report of an unconscious man.

Despite life-saving efforts the victim died of his injuries at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.

Police announced on May 13th, based on the evidence collected at the crime scene and the blunt-force injuries discovered during the post-mortem conducted through the Coroner’s Office. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
