London police responded to a disturbance took place at Jessie Davidson Park, on Viscount Road at 6:58 pm on June 18th. Police arrived to find a man suffering from serious injuries. The second male was located at hospital suffering from serious, life threatening injuries.

The two men suffered injuries as a result of an altercation with each other. Both men were placed in hospital in critical condition, where Steven William Douglas Burgess, 33, of London, died in the hospital on June 22nd.

Albert Joseph Zamora-Doxtator, 32, of London, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder. The accused remains in custody.
