Hudson’s Bay RCMP responded to a report of a woman being shot on February 3rd at a Hudson Street home at around 5pm.

Police arrive to find Stacey Lewis, 27, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Steven Lee Lewis, 32 was arrested at the scene and charged with first degree murder.

Police said the victim and the accused were known to each other.

Steven Lews is expected to make his first court appearance on February 7th in Melfort.
