Sheldon Nicholas LePage charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Amber Khadka

Lethbridge police announced on May 5, 2022 at approximately 8:24 p.m. 44-year-old Amber Khadka was approached by Sheldon Nicholas LePage, 45, near the intersection of 8 Street and 2 A Avenue North.

A verbal altercation occured, and the victim was struck by LePage and fell to the ground, sustaining life-threatening head injuries. Amber Khadka, was initially transported to Chinook Regional Hospital and transferred to Calgary after his condition deteriorated. He died of his injuries on May 7, 2022.

Sheldon Nicholas LePage, 45, of Lethbridge, is charged with one count of manslaughter and one count each of failing to comply with a release order and failing to comply with a probation order.

  • According to Canadian Police Report Amber Bahadur Khadka, had an arrest warrant out for two counts of sexual assault back in April 2022. Police have not said if his death is related to previous charges.
