OPP responded to an incident at 582 Riverside Drive in Corunna in the early morning hours of New Year’s Eve.

Police said Cheryl Vanhuizen was found deceased in the home. Shawn Trowbridge, 51, also of Corunna, was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder. Police have not disclosed the relationship between the victim and the accused.
