Saskatoon police were called to a hotel in the 2000 block of Airport drive in response to an injured male in one of the rooms on August 1st at approximately 7:20am.
Police and paramedics arrived to find Preston Logan Thomas, 27, deceased. The cause of death has not been released, however, police deemed the death a homicide.

Update August 6th
Joel Yuzicapi, 28, and another person of interest were arrested at a house on the 200 block of Avenue S South on August 5th. Yuzicapi has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of Thomas.
