Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes investigating the death of Keith Stewart in Montreal Lake Cree Nation

Saskatchewan RCMP Operational Communications Centre responded to the report of a male who required medical assistance at Montreal Lake Cree Nation on May 2nd at approximately 12:40 a.m.

Police and paramedics located 50-year-old Keith Stewart on a road, in Montreal Lake Cree Nation. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim was pronounced at the scene.

RCMP said preliminary information indicates the circumstances of the individual’s death are suspicious. As a result, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes have taken carriage of the ongoing investigation.
