Peterborough Police Service, Peterborough Paramedics and Peterborough Fire Services were called to the parking lot of Home Depot on August 22, at approximately 8:00am on report of a shooting.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find 70-year-old Sandra Finn, of the Peterborough area suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound. Finn was rushed to a Toronto Hospital where she died of her injuries.

73-year-old Terrance Finn, of the Peterborough area has been charged with second-degree murder.

A witness said Mr. Finn said “Call the cops, I just shot my wife,”, and just waited for the police to arrive.
