Police were called to 106th Avenue on May 5th at around 1am on reports of an injured man. On arrival Edmonton police found Robert Paul Loyer, 46, bleeding on the ground.

Police attempted CPR, however Loyer died at the scene.

Edmonton’s Medical Examiner has confirmed that Robert Loyer died as a result of blunt force trauma.
