Background:
St. Paul RCMP asked for the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Kimberly Cardinal, who was last seen in Saddle Lake, Alberta on April 23, 2019.

On June 25th human remains were recovered in the Saddle Lake area, and on July 24th Office of the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the remains as Kimberly Cardinal. Investigators believe the circumstances surrounding the death of Cardinal are suspicious. RCMP Major Crimes North has taken over the investigation.
