The 2022 Regina Homicide Victim List is available here

Regina police responded to the report of an unresponsive man in the 100 block of Davidson Crescent on March 15th at approximately 2:40pm.

On arrival police and paramedics located Leslie Victor John WHITEBEAR, 27, of Regina, injured and lying outside. Whitebear was transported to hospital where he succumbed to the injury.

Update: Amiir Abdullahi HUSSEN was arrested by the Edmonton Police Service at 1:00 p.m on February 13, 2025 in Edmonton.

HUSSEN is charged with:

• Second-Degree Murder [CC 235(1)].

HUSSEN remains in custody in Edmonton and will be returned to Regina in the coming days to make his first appearance on this charge. As of right now, no court date has been set.
