Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a report of a deceased male at a continuing care home in Meadow Lake on December 27th at 9:00pm.

RCMP said the investigation has determined an altercation occurred between two residents at the home, resulting in the injury of a 78-year-old man. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate the circumstances of this death. No charges have been made at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
