RCMP investigates the discovery of human remains in Saddle Creek Cree Nation as a homicide

St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of human remains in the North Saskatchewan River on Saddle Lake Cree Nation on May 20th.

Investigators said the deceased was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton, and the death has been deemed as a homicide. Police have not released the identity of the deceased at this time.
