The Manitoba 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

Stonewall RCMP responded to a report of an Aggravated Assault at Stony Mountain Institution in January 1st at approximately 2:10am.

Attending officers located the 36-year-old man unresponsive in his cell. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on February 7th. Police said his death is being treated as a homicide.
