RCMP declare the Norway House death of Johnny Stanley Muswagon a homicide

Norway House RCMP responded to the report of a male in medical distress, at a residence in the Paupanekis Point area on June 2nd at approximately 10:00pm.

 41-year-old Johnny Stanley Muswagon was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. At the time police said his death was being considered suspicious.  His death has now been determined to be a result of homicide and the Manitoba RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance.

Investigators believe Muswagon attended multiple homes in the Paupanekis Point area on the evening of July 1, 2022, and the morning of July 2, 2022. It is believed that sometime during this time frame, Muswagon got into a physical altercation with an unknown person.
