Randy Evans, 54, was  May 20th lying covered in blood, outside the doors of the Aurora Motel in Edmonton.

Evans was in critical condition when he was transported to hospital where he died a few days later.

Police have said that Evans injuries were from a beating, but will not release the cause of death.
