The 2023 Quebec Homicide Victim List is available here

Quebec City Police responded to a disturbance in a home at the corner of Proulx Avenue and Beaucage Street in the Vanier neighbourhood, on October 23rd at around Midnight.

On arrival police two men, ages 50 and 59 suffering from injuries. Despite life-saving attempts on the younger man, he died of his injuries. The second man suffered minor injuries.

Through the investigation, police learned that one suspect forced their way into the home and attacked the victims. He fled the scene prior to police arrival.

No arrests have been made and police continue to search for the suspect along side the K9 Unit.
